Dòng game Metal Slug ( Ở Việt Nam được gọi là Rambo Lùn, Chiến Binh Thép ) là 1 dòng game Chạy và Bắn Súng theo chiều ngang được công bố đầu tiên trên hệ máy game thùng (acade machines) Neo-Geo và các hệ máy chơi game khác bởi hãng NSK. Được ra mắt lần đầu vào năm 1996, Metal Slug ngay lập tức thu hút được sự chú ý của hàng loạt game thủ trên toàn thế giới với lối chơi cực kì lôi cuốn, một nền tảng đồ họa với phong cách hình ảnh đáng yêu và ngộ nghĩnh.

Metal Slug thực sự là tựa game sinh ra để giải trí, giúp người chơi quên đi những muộn phiền của cuộc sống, có thể thả mình vào những màn chạy và bắn cực kì đã đời.Mới đây, cha đẻ của Rambo Lùn ngày ấy, game bai doi thuong ,nhà phát triển Nhật Bản SNK  xác nhận hiện đang hoàn thiện một phiên bản Metal Slug dành riêng cho nền tảng di động.

Hiện tại, phiên bản này đã được hoàn thành 80% và dự kiến sẽ được phát hành trong năm 2020 này. Khi ra mắt, Metal Slug mobile vẫn sẽ giữ lối chơi đã tạo nên thương hiệu Rambo Lùn ngày nào trên nền tảng đồ họa 2D với chất liệu hình ảnh được giữ nguyên vẹn, tất nhiên sẽ đẹp mắt và long lanh hơn trên nền tảng mới.  

Như vậy là sau bao năm xa cách, thì tới đây, game thủ Việt sẽ có cơ hội hội ngộ lại người bạn tuổi thơ của mình. Chắc chắn khi ra mắt, Rambo Lùn Mobile sẽ đem lại cho game thủ nhiều cảm xúc xốn xang, xao xuyến như đang gặp lại cố nhân vậy.
